Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Numo mobile application and related services (“Numo”, “the App”, or the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or using Numo, you agree to these Terms.

1) The Service

• Numo is a personal expense and income tracking application designed to help users record, organize, scan, categorize, and better understand their everyday spending.
• Numo may also support optional receipt scanning, OCR, AI-assisted categorization, translation, summaries, search, and related features.
• Numo is not a bank, payment institution, accountant, tax advisor, investment advisor, or other professional financial service.

2) Eligibility

• You may use Numo only if you are legally permitted to use the Service under the laws applicable to you.
• You must meet the minimum age required in your country or region to use the Service.
• If you use Numo on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

3) Accounts and access

• Numo may offer anonymous account access, email/password registration, Sign in with Google, and Sign in with Apple.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and for activity that occurs under your account.
• If you link an authentication method to an existing account, the linked sign-in methods may be associated with the same Numo account in order to preserve your access and data.

4) Your content and data

• You retain ownership of the information, records, images, attachments, and other content you upload, create, or submit through Numo (“User Content”).
• You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, and transmit your User Content only as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the Service to you.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content is lawful and that you have the rights necessary to upload or use it in connection with the Service.
• You must not upload unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise harmful content.

5) AI, OCR, and automated processing

• Some features of Numo use OCR, AI models, and automated processing to extract, organize, categorize, translate, summarize, or search information based on the content you submit.
• These features are provided for convenience only.
• AI-generated, OCR-generated, or automatically categorized results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrect.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying your records, calculations, categorizations, and other outputs before relying on them.

6) Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• Numo may offer free features, trial access, and paid subscription features, including Pro access.
• Where subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered through Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewals, cancellations, and payment processing are handled by the relevant store and remain subject to that store’s terms and policies.
• RevenueCat may be used to manage entitlements and subscription status within the app.
• Trial eligibility, trial duration, and access conditions may be limited or restricted in order to prevent abuse, fraud, or repeated misuse of trial functionality.
• Restore Purchases may be available where supported by the relevant store.
• Refunds, where applicable, are generally governed by the policies of Apple App Store or Google Play unless otherwise required by law.

7) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• access or attempt to access another user’s data or account without authorization;
• use the Service to commit fraud, abuse promotions or trials, or bypass feature or subscription restrictions;
• interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security, integrity, or operation of the Service;
• upload malicious code, automated abuse traffic, or harmful content;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

8) Availability and changes to the Service

• We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by law.
• We do not guarantee that all features will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
• We may introduce, remove, or update features, providers, or technical workflows as part of maintaining and improving Numo.

9) Support

• Numo may provide support through in-app support chat and email.
• When you contact support, you are responsible for the information and attachments you choose to send.
• We may use support communications solely to respond to your request, investigate issues, and improve support operations.

10) Account deletion and termination

• You may stop using Numo at any time.
• You may request deletion of your Numo account through the in-app deletion flow or through the alternative process described on the Account Deletion page.
• We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, investigate abuse or fraud, enforce these Terms, or prevent harm to us, other users, or third parties.

11) Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, retain, and disclose information.

12) Disclaimers

• The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• We make no guarantee that the Service will always be accurate, complete, secure, or available without interruption.
• Spending records, receipt extraction, categorization, translations, summaries, analytics, and other outputs are provided for convenience only and do not constitute financial, tax, accounting, legal, or investment advice.

13) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, to the extent applicable, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Numo after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
